Hair, oh lovely… hair!

I’m almost never satisfied with my hair, or actually, more so… always changing it. Jay’s aunt once told me that she always looked forward to seeing me because my hair would always be differently cut and a new color each time she saw me. (Needless to say, we saw each other about four or five times a year.) I’ve gone back and forth between short and long hair since before Ayden was born.

I had pretty long hair my senior year of high school and that winter (I think) I chopped it short. Needed a change! As you can see, after I chopped it short, I started to let it grow back out. This first picture was probably around Ayden’s second birthday… look, long hair again.

Here my hair is a little longer. Deciding to grow it out again… styled a little differently because it’s a little longer.

And yet again… only with a little lighter coloring here…

Oh, but wait, time to chop it super short! I like this picture, but didn’t always love out my short hair looked. It took lots of product to keep it ‘puffed’ up all day long.

n185005991_31127135_8104 And as if, it being that short wasn’t enough, I was bold enough to try BLONDE! And let me tell you, I definitely don’t do blonde well. So not my color, but I enjoyed it while I had it.

Maybe a month or so after the blonde, I needed something new… AGAIN! This time I went for what the store called ‘maroon’ but what really was a dark purple. It was pretty dark at first and wasn’t so purple, but as it washed out it got lighter and lighter… here you can see a little tint of it. I really liked the purple. Me, crazy person with crazy color changing hair!

And when I got sick of the purple and decided that I was ready to let my hair grow back out… I did BLACK! Black was okay for a while, but it really didn’t have any dimension. I survived the ‘black’ stage, but don’t think I’ll go back to it any time soon.

Here’s a little closer picture of the black…

Slowly, but surely… my hair is getting longer. Did I mention that my hair TAKES FOREVER to grow out! It grows so slowly!

n185005991_32335122_9175

The black is starting to grow out and a little more length has been added…

Oh but wait, could see the roots in the last picture, so it was back to black, at least for a little while!

And finally, I went in and asked for some highlights! I needed something new, yet again! I love my hair now!

And TWO YEARS LATER… after first getting it chopped off, my hair is now almost as long as it was BEFORE I chopped it off. I’m itching for a change again, however… not ready to cut the locks. Really just looking for a color change.

After leaving this post unpublished for a few days and thinking about it… I’m still not sure what I want to do. I’m thinking definitely not chopping it right now. It is still not as long as I would like it (I’m craving really long hair this time), but possibly a color change/highlight is in my future… it just costs a lot and right now we are saving for Wii Fit (if we can ever find one!) and to pay off some other bills. Hair is not my top priority, but I thought I would just give everyone a look at my always changing looks. At least in the last two years…

CIAO! LOVE ME!
